  1. Well certainly if MERTZ can transfer then so can Paul!

    1. Paul has no desire to transfer at the moment.

  2. Mertz has been a good boy since getting off death row, including working a job in the prison. He has been rewarded by being moved out of maximum security and is now enjoying a much more relaxed open and free life as a medium security prisoner. Paul, on the other hand, remains stuck in Stateville — where he refuses to come out of his cell, work etc.

    1. Paul is literally in a school program at the moment that has hom out of his cell most days.

    2. Yeah, but he’s not working. So he’s still stuck in a hell hole max prison and that psycho murderer former death row inmate Mertz is now out on easy street relatively speaking in medium security.

    3. Yeah Mertz is on easy street now while Paul is still doing Hard Time. You have to ask yourself WHY? It’s because Mertz is SMART and Paul is NOT. If Paul knew how to play his cards right he would be in a medium security prison now. Lots of time to roam around the grounds freely and not stuck in that rat cage of a cell or in some cramped “classroom” with a locked door and gun sally port covering the interior. Maybe Paul just likes living in hell who knows.

    4. I've mentioned this SEVERAL times before but Paul DOES NOT want to transfer. He is closer to his family and friends and can easily help out with his case in his current location. All of the mediums are several hours away from everything.

So, I'm hoping that is a good enough answer for you to shut up.

    5. Give Paul a break. He has a mental illness and cannot work. He studies and reads and works on his appeal. He is doing as well as he can under the circumstances.
