  2. Some bad news for you I’m afraid Paul. I’ve got the inside scoop on your petition and it’s DOA. Sorry buddy. Good luck in there. Try and make the most of it I guess. And maybe get a job and get out of that cell. It might do you some good.

    1. Well the first post conviction petition was filed "pro-se" where the lawyer forged Paul's signature and left out supporting documents.

His other appeals were not denied on merit but on legal error, in one case an appeal was filed a day late.

Paul also has had a lot of input in this petition unlike the previous one.

  5. I am a supporter of Paul and believe his is innocent and want him to be granted freedom.
However, what happens if his post conviction appeal is denied? Does that mean all hope is lost and he will die in prison?
Also what happened with his 7th clemency petition, was it officially denied?
Will Paul be working on an 8th clemency petition?

    1. We have received no response on the 7th clemency petition. If his post conviction petition is denied, there's always hope for clemency.
There are no plans at the moment to work on an 8th petition.

  6. Maybe Trump will pardon him along with Rod Blogovich!

    1. Trump can't pardon him since Paul was convicted on the state level not federally. Only the Illinois Governor can either commute his sentence or pardon him.

  7. Paul I imagine what you’re feeling is like someone trying to swim/claw their way out of a giant, sucking quicksand swamp of prison cement, steel and death. Hang in there buddy!

  8. Yes and the medical services are horrible! Paul’s back surgery was messed up bad and he is in pain all the time now. We are worried it could get worse too!
